Built Before the Shift to Virtual Care
When the world moved online during the pandemic, NousTalk was already there. Our earliest users were university counselling centers, providing students with private, confidential, and stigma-free access to therapy from their residences or off-campus housing. That experience shaped everything that followed.

Why We Created NousTalk
NousTalk was born from a simple belief: access to mental health care should not depend on where someone lives, how easily they can travel, or whether they feel safe—or unsafe—walking through the doors of a clinic. We therefore built a platform that removes these barriers by connecting clinicians and clients through video and audio that are encrypted both in transit and at rest. Care happens through conversation. Everything we build is designed to protect that conversation—and ultimately fade into the background so that it remains at the center.
